Capital High School Pod A will be hosting the 7th annual Cougar Salute to Veterans this Friday, November 8th in Pod A from 6:45am-2:30pm.
The Pod will be filled with various tributes to our military veterans including: The 1st Special Forces Group Family Readiness Group, SGM(Ret) Gerry Hacker a former psyops specialist, a Gulf War I veteran, and a variety of living historians representing WWII paratroopers, Rangers, War Correspondents, and a Cold War era air force officer. There will be army trucks parked outside the upper parking lot main entrance and. of course, a WWII jeep parked in the Pod. Lunch will be hosted by the world famous home-cooking master chef Nancy Deakins in the A-B Staff room during second lunch.
