Annually, Better Business Bureau hosts free shredding events called Secure Your ID Day, which provide free, reliable on-site document shredding, electronic recycling and identity theft awareness services. This complimentary event provides our community with an opportunity to safely and securely dispose of unneeded personal documents and electronics.
Need to shred? Bring three boxes or bags of unwanted documents to be shredded. Please note that cardboard and three-ring binders cannot be accepted.
Need to recycle? Green PC will accept the below items free of charge: TV monitors, computers, laptops, printers, DVD players, VCR’s, Stereos, computer accessories, cables/wires, laptop batteries, battery back-ups, network equipment
They will not accept: large appliances, light bulbs, alkaline batteries, vacuums
