20th Anniversary Nirvana Tribute Concert

In 1994 Kurt Cobain passed into rock history. Twenty years later, history comes alive as South Sound musicians unite to remember a native son. Local bands Mosquito Hawk, The Hard Way, Under Sin (featuring Nirvana’s original drummer Aaron Burckhard) Full Moon Radio, and Gebular pay homage to the memory of Kurt Cobain, his far reaching impact still inspiring music artists today.
Filmed live as part of the Olympia Film Collective’s documentary ’20 A.C’, these five electrifying bands cover the hits of Nirvana, as well as showcase the evolution of the South Sound with their original tunes. Come relive the energy of the “Seattle” sound where it all began, on a night of Olympia music history.
