Join staff and stewards as we will be continuing our efforts in removing destructive plant species, including Scotch broom and Himalayan blackberry. The second half of the work party will focus on planting Pacific Northwest trees. The parcel is located at 2803 18th Ave NE. Street parking is available. Meet just inside the parcel.
Due to Covid-19, the following safety protocols are now in place:
You must wear a face mask within six feet of another person. The mask must cover both the nose and mouth. We can supply you with one if you do not have one.
Hand sanitizer will be provided.
We will continue to supply you with gloves but you are welcome to bring your own from home.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and any youth under 18 years of age without an adult present must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to park and sign in.
