The Evergreen State College placed 109th in the final 2024-25 Learfield Directors’ Cup standings for the NAIA as released on June 10. Evergreen picked up points from NAIA postseason competition in women’s indoor track and field and women’s wrestling during the winter, as well as points from women’s outdoor track and field in the spring. Evergreen earned a total of 143 points in the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings.
During the 2025 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Evergreen placed 18th in the women’s team standings. Izabelle Trefts (Jr.) won the NAIA Championship in the 3,000-meter race walk with an Evergreen school record time of 13:53.46. Alauna Carstens (Jr., So. in indoor track) took third place in the 3,000-meter run in 9:43.40. Trefts and Carstens were named All-Americans.
Evergreen placed 16th in the team standings at the 2025 NAIA Women’s Wrestling Championships. Flor Parker Borrero (Jr.) earned third place in the 160-pound weight class, while Nizhoni Tallman (Sr.) placed eighth in the 110-pound weight class. Parker Borrero and Tallman were chosen as All-Americans.
At the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Evergreen tied for 28th place in the women’s team standings. Trefts took second place in the 5,000-meter race walk with a time of 23:22.79. Carstens was eighth in the 10,000-meter run at 35:47.91. Corona Parker (Sr.) tied for 25th in the high jump after clearing 1.61 meters (5’ 3.50”). Trefts and Carstens were named All-Americans.
University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) led the final standings to win this year’s Learfield Directors’ Cup. Keiser University (Fla.) was #2. Indiana Wesleyan University placed #3 and Marian University (Wisc.) was #4. William Carey University (Miss.) finished #5.
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NAIA Championships.
