Javoen Byrd From Awodi Drumming

Macy’s Court
Head to the Macy’s Court to enjoy the talents of Javoen Byrd from Awodi Drumming, brought to you by the Capital Mall branch of the Timberland Regional Library. Byrd is a local, Olympia-based ethnomusicologist – someone who studies music within its cultural context and how music shapes societies. His business, Awodi Drumming, uses indigenous West African and African American music for multicultural programming and business development.

If you are a card enthusiast, or maybe always wondered what it’s all about, head to the Capital Mall on June 14 for a Trading Card Show with Dugan’s Sportscards. Find out what those sports cards your grandpa left you are worth, purchase new ones for your collection or trade with other collectors! Last time there were over 40-plus tables of sports cards, Magic, Pokémon and more. You don’t want to miss this fun event!
