“I am very excited with how well our guys have been building into this conference meet,” Evergreen Head Men’s Wrestling Coach Greg Ford said. “This will be our second year going into the conference tournament and I am stoic as we are much more prepared headed into this event this year. Our athletes are more dialed in, and they are wrestling at the weights they should be at. I am just hoping for safe travels, athletes all making weight, and competing confidently and stress free.”

Several wrestlers stood out for Ford in terms of their preparation and skills.

“Dawkins is wrestling extremely well at 149,” Ford noted. “I’m looking forward to watching him compete, along with every else of course. Sandoval has been very consistent all year at 141. Wallway is my dark horse pick that could shake some things up. Parker-Borrero is healthy and wrestling well with a previous ranking in the Top 20.”

Each conference tournament awards automatic bids per weight class based on the final regular season poll. The automatic awards are based on the number of wrestlers ranked in each weight class. The CCC received the highest number of automatic qualifiers for the 2025 NAIA Championships with a total of 52. The CCC allocations by weight class are:  125 pounds, 5; 133 pounds, 5; 141 pounds, 5; 149 pounds, 4; 157 pounds, 7; 165 pounds, 4; 174 pounds, 4; 184 pounds, 5; 197 pounds, 6; 285 pounds, 7.
