Ronnell Parker-Borrero (Fr.) of The Evergreen State College is ranked #17 in the 184-pound weight class according to The Open Mat in its NAIA Men’s Wrestling Rankings. Parker-Borrero earned a 5-0 record with three pins at the Simpson University Duals on November 2 and went 2-2 at the Mike Clock Open hosted by Pacific University on November 10. He added his fourth pin of the season during action at the Mike Clock Open.
Borrero’s 7-2 start has gained attention for the TESC wrestler. He is one of several key competitors on the Geoducks’ roster this year.
According to The Open Mat rankings, the leader in the 184-pound weight class is J.D. Perez of Life University (Ga.), who holds the #1 ranking. William Speight of Lourdes University (Ohio) is ranked #2 and Rylin Burns from Montana State University-Norther is ranked #3.
Parker-Borrero and the Evergreen men’s wrestling team will return to the mats on Sunday, November 24 at the Spokane Open. The meet will start at 9 a.m. PST in Spokane, Washington.
