Olympia Federal Savings (OlyFed) is pleased to announce the appointment of James Vanderholm, CPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Vanderholm joins OlyFed with well over a decade of financial management experience, most recently serving as Vice President and Controller at RiverBank in Spokane.
A graduate of Eastern Washington University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Management Information Systems, Vanderholm is a Certified Public Accountant, and he brings a deep understanding of organizational operations, regulatory compliance standards and the multi-faceted financial functions of banking to OlyFed. Vanderholm spent the first part of his career working for Moss Adams, earning several promotions as an auditor of financial institutions before moving directly into banking.
Vanderholm has been involved with the Sister Cities Association of Spokane, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, Spokane Museum of Arts and Culture, Hispanic Business Professionals Association, Union Gospel Mission and Latino Hope Foundation. He is passionate about community service and is looking forward to getting involved locally.

In his free time, Vanderholm loves to travel. He enjoys exploring new places, learning about other cultures and meeting new friends along the way.
