Without a drop of Irish blood in her veins, Sandra Niman recounts tales that connect to the tumultuous history of the Emerald Isle. Sandra, with an extensive background in storytelling, featured at festivals, teacher of the art of storytelling, and excellent performer of literary tales. After the featured tellers, Story Swap is an opportunity to share personal stories or folk tales of old. Free, although donations are appreciated. The Tenino Arts Spring Market 3-day event will reveal the newest work of 32 juried artisans in a variety of creative categories plus the music of 5 live bands playing Folk, Traditional, Celtic & Irish tunes livening the shopping experience.

What better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than by attempting to catch a mischievous leprechaun? Kids can brainstorm with the Hands On Children’s Museum’s MakeSpace team to come up with creative ideas to lure in these tricky creatures with shiny objects and glittering gold. And with their imaginations in full swing, they can then use their crafting skills to construct an ingenious trap to try and capture one of these elusive beings.
