Mental health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being, yet it is often overlooked or stigmatized. As a result, many teenagers struggle with mental health issues without getting the help they need. Online Resources

Talk2BeWell is part of Providence’s Work2BeWell initiative, which provides:

One of the most significant challenges teenagers face is dealing with stress. The pressure to fit in, excel academically, and navigate complicated social dynamics can be overwhelming. Mental health resources for teens can help alleviate this stress and provide tools to manage anxiety and depression. These resources also offer guidance on how to build positive coping mechanisms, set healthy boundaries, and cultivate supportive relationships.

One of the topics explored on Work2BeWell is stress. There are many mental health resources available for teenagers and adults alike.

There is a specific module on stress, to help students learn what stress is, how it develops, types of stress, and be connected with resources and suggestions for what to do when feeling stressed. Another module focuses on anxiety to help students learn what anxiety is, the signs of anxiety, how to move from anxious thinking to realistic thinking, and be connected with resources and suggestions for what to do when feeling anxious.

Other topics on the Work2BeWell curriculum include:

Accessing mental health resources as a teenager is crucial for maintaining good mental health and setting the foundation for a healthy future. If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out for help.
