Since 1989, South South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity has been working tirelessly to build up our communities, our neighborhoods and our citizens. They are driven by a dream and shared belief that all humans, no matter their story, deserve a place to call home. They see stable, safe and affordable shelter as the catalyst for change in someone’s story, a child’s future and a family’s success. On October 27, 2023, we have an opportunity to support and grow this invaluable work at the “Raise the Roof” Gala. This year’s event will take place at the Olympia Hotel at 5:30 p.m. where attendees will be immersed in the decadence that is mid-century style. A classy theme for a timeless American dream.

Support South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity

Community members can get involved in South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity’s “Raise the Roof” Gala in more ways than just attending, though I think we can all agree that is the best part! We can become sponsors, volunteer or donate. Local businesses can build a partnership and offer their services. “Above all, we want the community to understand the transformative power of their involvement,” emphasizes Amber. “By attending the gala or supporting it in any way, they become architects of hope, actively shaping a brighter future for families in Thurston County.”

Amber offers an additional thank you to the “Raise the Roof” Gala committee members who volunteered to take on this important event. “Our Gala’s success is indebted to the unwavering dedication of our committee members,” she shares, “who have been meeting weekly and volunteering their time to ensure this event is nothing short of spectacular. Each member brings unique expertise, from event planning to community engagement, weaving a tapestry of skills that has shaped every aspect of this year’s ‘Raise the Roof’ Gala.”
