The newest mural to downtown Olympia at Plum Street YMCA has been selected for an Arts Walk Innovation Award. Join us at Plum Street YMCA on October 6th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. during Olympia Arts Walk as we feature the artist, Elisa Del Giudice, with live music from Tacoma indie artist Great Comet. We invite you to start your Arts Walk at the Y!
The mural design elements include images unique to our region. The work is also part of a larger, national project – You Are Not Alone Murals.
The Arts Walk Innovation Awards were created to honor and support excellence and innovation in community engagement through the arts. This year, five projects were selected out of 83 registered.
