Lacey In Tune Provides Family-Friendly Entertainment

Lacey Parks, Culture, and Recreation created Lacey in Tune with families and the community in mind. “In 1995, we started with the noon time concerts, and now it has grown to the rest of the week. This event is now well-established in the City of Lacey,” shares Jeannette Sieler, recreation supervisor. “Families can congregate at Huntamer Park in the green space with lots of trees and enjoy live music. It’s also a great place to gather with others in the community.”

Every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., starting July 11 and running until August 15, families can enjoy the Children’s Entertainment Series. Expect tons of performances at this weekly event, such as kid-friendly music acts, science shows, magicians, reptiles, and more!

Looking to add some excitement to your lunch hour? Escape to Huntamer Park from July 5 to August 9 to check out the Noon Concert Series every Wednesday at – you guessed it – 12 p.m. This live session highlights music from different genres such as hard rock, funk and soul, and even zydeco. Don’t miss the opportunity to get out and breathe the afternoon fresh air while listening to a variety of talented musical performances every week.
