The community is welcome to attend a Restaurant and Hospitality Hiring Event organized by the Thurston County Chamber and WorkSource Thurston. The free, outdoor event will take place at the Port of Olympia in front of Anthony’s Homeport on Tuesday, August 17, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Recruiters from employers in the Olympia area will be present as well as WorkSource Thurston staff who will share information about the resources they offer and how they can assist job seekers with their job search. Job seekers should bring copies of their resume if they are ready to land a new job.

The following businesses are hiring and will be at the event:

  • River’s Edge
  • Red Wind Casino
  • Comfort Inn Tumwater
