Following the successful online experience presented in 2020, Washington Center for the Performing Arts will once again be hosting their CENTER Stage Gala virtually. The event will be available to all for free by tuning in to the YouTube live event at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 8.

Featuring entertainment and videos from the Washington Center’s artistic partners and messages from well-known artists, the evening of fun and entertainment will include a wide range of auction items and experiences to bid on. The evening will be highlighted by a special announcement impacting the future of the Center for years to come.

With all Gala proceeds benefiting the Washington Center, this is the 6th annual Gala night since the event was started in 2016. “As we prepare for a full return to performances in the fall, we look to your support to help sustain our operations. Our Virtual Gala is an opportunity to reconnect as we all plan for our brighter futures that include music, theater, dance, and the joy that only live events can provide,” said Jill Barnes, Executive Director of the Washington Center for the Performing Arts.

For those wishing to create the full sensory experience of a gala with food and wine, Uncork & Unwind has created special packages for local viewers. Packages of white, red, mix and bubbly are available on the Washington Center for the Performing Arts website for pre-purchase prior to July 6.

Out-of-this-world live auction items will include a package for a six-night stay in Palm Desert, a Broadway NYC package with airfare on Alaska Airlines, and a perfect evening on the beach with an Oyster Beach Dinner. A silent auction will be held featuring items from facials to acupuncture to and dinners and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Fund-A-Need to support the mission of the Center will also be held during the evening’s event.

This year’s event is possible through the generous support of our 2021 Sponsors: Oly Fed, Uncork & Unwind, and Weatherly Inn.
