The Waste & Recovery Center (WARC) will temporarily reopen to self-haul customers Saturday, April 4, 2020 through Sunday, April 5, 2020. Normal operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. will be in effect.

The HazoHouse, recycling area, free mulch pile, Off-Leash Dog Park, and Closed Loop Park will remain closed to the public. The WARC will then close to self-haulers from Monday, April 6, 2020 through Wednesday, April 8, 2020. All services are expected to reopen to all customers at the WARC on Thursday, April 9, 2020.

Customers should expect long lines and stay 6 feet away from others while at the WARC this weekend. Customers should allow only one person out of their vehicle, if possible, and wash their hands before and after each visit.

The temporary changes to public access of the WARC do not affect commercial haulers who provide garbage services to many county residents. It only affects those who self-haul to county waste facilities.
