Effective Thursday, August 15, swimming at Long Lake Park will be restricted to the shallow section of the swim area due to poor water visibility. Currently, water visibility is limited to 3.5 feet, creating safety issues for swimmers and lifeguards. The City will remove the restriction when water visibility improves to a minimum of 4 feet.

Further changes to Long Lake Park’s swim area for the remainder of the 2019 swim season will be posted at ci.lacey.wa.us/Long-Lake-Park.
