The Lacey City Council seeks youth representatives (16-18-years-old) to serve on the Parks Board, Historical Commission, and Library Board. This is a great opportunity for students to participate in the governmental process while serving their community.

Eligible candidates must be:

  • 16-18-years-old.
  • Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a public, private, or home school within the North Thurston

Public School (NTPS) district.

  • A resident of Lacey or its Urban Growth Area.

The Mayor will appoint each youth representatives to a one-year term (September to September) with the option to serve an additional one-year term, if desired
