Thurston County Roadwork: contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin installing a new protective surface on State Routes 7 and 702 on Saturday, July 7.
Starting tomorrow at 9:00 a.m., crews will begin their work on SR 7 south of Eatonville at milepost 25.5 and work their way north to the intersection of SR 702. As time allows, crews will continue their work on SR 702.
Work zones:
- SR 702 from milepost 0.3 to 9.3 between SR 507 and SR 7.
- SR 7 from milepost 25.5 to 27.76 south of Eatonville and again from milepost 29 to 36 at SR 702.
Travelers are advised to be prepared for delays and drive through the construction zones with caution. Alternating one-way traffic controlled by a pilot car and a reduced speed limit will be in place.
Week of July 9
Crews will continue their daytime work on both state routes Monday, July 9 through Saturday, July 14 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Alternating one-way traffic controlled by a pilot car and a reduced speed limit will be in place.
All work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
