Join a network of over 600 dynamic community leaders; Leadership Thurston County (LTC) is currently accepting applications for the Class of 2018.
The purpose of LTC is to develop informed, connected, and engage community leaders. The program is designed to assist participants in acquiring a broad understanding of the complex issues facing the South Puget Sound region and building relationships that will facilitate collaborative efforts to embrace opportunities and resolve challenges.
Up to 40 area professionals participate in the program that runs from September through June. Participants meet once a month to learn about community issues, build relationships with decision-makers and explore opportunities for leadership. Through discussions, site visits and group and individual activities, class members examine a range of topics, including business and economic development, government, education, health and human services, law and justice and arts and culture.
Applications are due April 1, 2017 or when the class is full. The cost of the program is $2000, and payment plans may be available. Participants must live or work in Thurston County; and is limited to one program participant per organization.
