We have been busy at Westport Winery Garden Resort working to exceed our guests’ expectations. Beginning on October 27, we are increasing our restaurant hours from 11 a.m. every day until 5 p.m. We will continue to have expanded dinner service on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Part of the reason for this is to make it easier for those who want to pick up dinner to go on their w 
ay home from work or on their way to the beach.
- All of the items on our menu are available for take-out orders, especially our new homemade Chicken Pot Pie. This dish is chock full of our own herb-seasoned and roasted chicken breasts and farm fresh veggies topped with our signature Cougar Gold infused pie crust. We can have this ready for you in ten minutes so you can call ahead or order when you arrive.
- We’ve also added a Corkscrew Pasta with Marinara Sauce. It’s hearty and healthy with big chunks of Italian sausage and diced tomatoes topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. At dinner this is one of four side dishes selections along with Yukon gold baked potato, baked steak fries, or pasta with our Cougar Gold cheese sauce.
- In our bakery we’ve created a dessert on par with our most popular wine — Duckleberry Grunt. The new Triple Berry Grunt features a raspberry, blackberry and blueberry compote under a hot lemon dumpling crust then topped with vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream. When you order this you can’t help by say, “Wow!”
- We also added an exciting new option to our beverage menu for guests in our restaurant. You can select a Wine Flight with any five wines to be delivered to your table for just $5. To help you focus on what’s new, our tasting notes have stars next to our five latest releases.
- We are currently taking reservations for holiday parties. With some redesign in our dining room we have created a separate space for small groups to get together with more privacy.
On the outside of the winery, we have doubled the area for parking when visiting the resort and added some new features for your enjoyment.
- The overflow parking area is located at the driveway past our main entrance. It’s designed to better accommodate those
towing trailers and boats. It has a spacious turning roundabout and easy pull-through parking. The gravel path entrance from this parking area to the winery is marked with our two new blue bottle tree sculptures.
- Near the new overflow parking is the area dedicated to our wedding and event facility. Our huge pavilion tent goes back up in the spring next to where our cute little changing cottage is already in place. These two structures are next to our new Victorian Wedding Lawn and White Wedding Garden (just west of our nine-hole orchard golf course). We are currently taking bookings for the 2016 wedding season.
- The Something Blue Garden near the greenhouse is shaping up as perfect place for wedding photos. The new blue bottle wall created by Beau Finley under a living roof topped with plants is a great place to sip a glass of wine.
- And finally, you will discover a delightful little water feature to enjoy near the Captain Gray sculpture on the western edge of the newBeauty From Ashes Garden.
