The Capital Lakefair Parade, held on Saturday, is a great way to get into the action without spending a dime.
With thousands lining Capital Way down to Capitol Lake, the 96 entries pranced, danced, marched and smiled their way through the annual Lakefair Parade Saturday evening. Floats and groups from across the county and region embarked down the parade route as spectators tried to find shade under the pristine, sunny conditions. Like the Thurston County area itself, the parade featured a diverse array of entries, all of which were supported and appreciated by the enthusiastic citizens in attendance.
