Positions Open on Four Citizen-Member Advisory Committees
The Olympia City Council is accepting applications for vacancies on four citizen-member, volunteer advisory committees. The groups usually meet in the evening.
- Arts Commission – 1 position
- Design Review Board – 1 position for a person with a Heritage or Historical Architecture background
- Heritage Commission – 2 vacancies
- Utility Advisory Committee – 1 vacancy
The application form is posted on the City’s website, olympiawa.gov, as is information about each committee. To be considered, submit your completed application by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7. Interviews with the City Council’s 3-person General Government Committee are tentatively scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, August 14.
