Antiques Appraisals at the 2013 Thurston County Fair

Enter online today for appraisal event Aug. 2                                          

It’s time to clean up those collectibles and dust off those antiques because the Antiques Appraisal event is back again this year at the Thurston County Fair.   Entries are being accepted now for the antiques appraisal event on Friday, August 2 at 4 p.m. in Heritage Hall when a professional appraiser will examine and evaluate each of the pieces. There is no fee to enter an antique or collectible item for appraisal, but all antiques owners must be present at the August 2 event and pay gate admission for the fair.   Submit your item and its story using the online form here.

All antiques appraisal items must be delivered to Heritage Hall at the Thurston County Fairgrounds on Sunday, July 28 for display during the fair. Fairgoers will not have access to the display stage, and most items, depending on their size, will be kept in locked cases. No guns or other weapons will be accepted.
