I thought you would be interested to know that I have submitted an application to the Governor to be appointed to the local superior court bench in light of Judge Pomeroy’s early retirement. As a practicing attorney and law professor over the last thirty years, and, as President of the Olympia School Board, a former President of the Thurston County Bar Association, Thurston County Citizen of the Year, United Way of Thurston County Board President, Olympia Planning Commission Chair, and Thurston County Chamber of Commerce Chair, I am uniquely qualified to serve the citizens of Thurston County as a Superior Court Judge.
