Join up-and-coming, energy filled companies in the Thurston County Small Business Incubator.

Current clients include KB Associates Bookkeeping, a startup that earlier this year was named as a finalist for the Thurston EDC’s New Business of the Year award.

“There is a great synergy between Incubator clients,” said previous Incubator client Mark Woytowich, of Woytowich Design. “The Incubator is a resource-rich environment that provides experts in many fields right at your fingertips.”

Among other things, the Incubator provides high quality space for companies to conduct business including use of two conference rooms with multi-media access and a work center.

Successful Incubator applicants will be either start-up, young or expanding businesses looking to increase their success. “The affiliation with the Chamber provided credibility for my business,” added Woytowich.

Other Incubator services include high speed Internet access and use of office equipment (fax, copier, postage equipment, etc). There is also assistance with small business financing, and education in accounting, human resources, marketing and other business disciplines through workshops and consulting.

Another Incubator client is Imaje Massage Therapy. Owner James Pence, LMP recently shared, “April was the best month we’ve had yet.” He moved into the Incubator last summer with a carefully developed business plan that included not only bodywork and massage, but also a health and wellness line of vitamins, supplements and anti-aging products.

The Small Business Incubator’s relationships, services and benefits combine to create an environment ripe for growth and success.
