Indoor Fun for the Upcoming Rainy Weekend
Friday 3/4: If you have young children that could use some playtime to expel any left over energy, this Friday night the Hand’s On Children’s Museum (106 11th Ave SW Olympia, WA 98501) is offering free admission from 5-9PM! Saturday 3/5 and Sunday 3/6: This weekend, enjoy a special treat presented by the students of South Puget Sound Community College; a performance of Nilaja Sun’s, “No Child…”. A touching tale about a witty professor who refuses to take the challenges of the New York school system lying down. The show will be taking place on Stage II at the Minnaert Center for the Performing Arts right on campus. On Saturday night, the performance will begin at 8PM, and on Sunday at 2PM. All tickets can be purchased through the Washington Center for the Performing Arts’ website at the following link: www.washingtoncenter.org/upcoming-events/2011/3/3/no-child-presented-by-spscc-theater-department.html Tickets cost $12.50 per person, unless you are a student or faculty member carrying a valid I.D. in which case the cost is $7.50.
