The League of Women Voters of Thurston County (LWVTC), in collaboration with Thurston Community Media (TCMedia), invites voters to view candidate forums featuring candidates for:
- Olympia School Board, Districts 1, 2 & 4 (with Olympia Timberland Library)
- Port of Olympia, Districts 1, 4 & 5
- North Thurston School Board, Districts 1, 4 & 5
- Olympia Mayor
- Griffin School Board, Positions 1 & 5
- Tenino Mayor
- Thurston County Commissioner, Districts 4 & 5
- Lacey City Council, Positions 2 & 3
The forums are available on the League’s website here. They are also available for viewing through Thurston Community Media on Channel 77 and as YouTube videos.
These forums reflect the League’s commitment to encouraging informed and active participation in government, increasing understanding of major public policy issues, and influencing public policy through education and advocacy. A non-partisan organization, the League never supports candidates for office or political parties.
General Election ballots will be mailed by October 18 and the last day to vote is November 7. You may register to vote up to election day. We encourage you to Be a Voter and make sure your voice is heard.
