Neurodivergent Teen Book Club at Sensory Tool House @ Sensory Tool House
Apr 3 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Neurodivergent Teen Book Club at Sensory Tool House @ Sensory Tool House

Join us at Sensory Tool House for a book club for neurodivergent (ND) youth ages 13 to 18! This group’s mission is to provide a space for ND teens to find community with their peers and find joy in reading!

This book club program takes place in the sensory room at Sensory Tool House, and will be facilitated by library staff with support from staff at Sensory Tool House. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay nearby, but to leave the room if it is safe to do so, as a way of encouraging the teens’ social interaction and participation.

This month we will be reading The Backstagers Volume 1 (graphic novel edition) by James Tynion IV.

Please contact Naomi at the Lacey Library (nbell@TRL.org) or Claire at the Olympia Library (csandovalpeck@TRL.org) with any questions or requests for accommodation.

SPACE IS LIMIT AND REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Visit https://timberland.bibliocommons.com/events/656a7ae7eb28943d007a2fb7 to register. Once successfully registered, Claire or Naomi will reach out to coordinate how best to get you a copy of the book we will all be reading.
