Yale University Whiffenpoofs in concert

Singing a mixture of jazz standards, pop music hits from across the decades, and old Yale tunes, the Yale University Whiffenpoofs will bring their amazing musicality to St. John | San Juan Episcopal Church on Monday, October 13 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

“Our community is delighted to host these singers,” said the Rev. Dr. Janet Waggoner, rector at St. John | San Juan. “It will be a real treat, and most importantly, all proceeds will go to support ministries in the San Juan community.”

The Whiffenpoofs are an iconic Yale University a cappella singing group founded in 1909. The group’s work is so esteemed that it’s performed at Carnegie Hall and other internationally known venues, in more than 20 countries on six continents, and on several well-known TV shows.

Suggested donation for admission is $25. Proceeds will help support immigrant services provided at SJSJ.
