Tree Salvage

This month, we will be visiting the Center for Natural Lands Management’s (CNLM) Tenalquot Prairie Preserve to salvage trees!

The Nisqually Land Trust has partnered with CNLM for the past three years to salvage small conifer trees, like Douglas firs and shore pines. These trees can threaten to shade out CNLM’s prairies, but they’re perfect for reforesting Land Trust properties. Everyone wins!
