Thurston County Resource Hub Block Party

The Thurston County Resource Hub, in partnership with ABOVE Home Health, Evergreen Direct Credit Union, and Capital Recovery Center, invites the community to attend the Third Annual Thurston County Resource Hub Block Party on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 929 Lakeridge Dr. SW, Olympia, WA 98501.
This free community event brings together dozens of local agencies and nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping Thurston County residents access valuable services and resources in one convenient location.
Attendees can enjoy a complimentary hot dog lunch while exploring a wide range of free services, including:
• Childhood immunizations for children ages 3–18
• Blood pressure and health screenings
• Blood donation drive
• Veterinary care and pet grooming
• Haircuts and showers
• DSHS Mobile Services
• Raffle prizes
• Information on healthcare, senior services, housing, financial resources, and other community support programs
• Low-vision resources and free hot dogs provided by the Olympia Host Lions Club

The annual Block Party is designed to make it easier for individuals and families to connect with the organizations that serve Thurston County while fostering collaboration among community partners.
“We’re excited to once again bring together so many incredible organizations that are committed to supporting our community,” said event organizers. “Whether someone is looking for healthcare resources, assistance for their family, services for an older adult, or simply wants to learn what’s available in our community, this event offers something for everyone.”
The event is free and open to the public. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
