Thurston County Heritage Day

We would like to invite you to the 2026 Heritage Day celebration at the Thurston County Fairgrounds in Heritage Hall on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. As we do each year, we will celebrate Thurston County history. This is an opportunity for county historical, cultural, and preservation-focused groups, and interested individuals to gather, mingle, and share thoughts on this critical topic.

We will:

·acknowledge the 2026 Thurston County Heritage Award

·celebrate the 174th Thurston County birthday with refreshments

·hear a history talk from Thurston County Historic Commissioner and author Ira Wesley Kitmacher

·be entertained by a South Sound Story Guild storyteller.

We look forward to your participation.

Thank you!
