Tenino Young at Heart Theatre – A Year with Frog and Toad

Tenino Young at Heart Theatre (TYT) presents the musical, A Year with Frog and Toad, July 15 to July 25 in the Tenino City Park at the Quarry Pool. This unique setting is perfect to tell the story of two best friends as they share a year together in their amphibian world. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score and book by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows the two best friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.
Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad sled down snowy hills, plant springtime flowers, splash in summer swimming holes, rake up autumn leaves and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures through the seasons.
