Climate Conversations Series Discusses Wolverine Distribution in Washington and Survival Challenges
Join us for our continuing Climate Conversations Series with guest speaker Cathy Raley, wildlife biologist for the U.S. Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station. Since 2006, Cathy has been studying the distribution and ecology of wolverines in the northern Cascade Range in Washington and British Columbia.

Wolverines have specialized habitat needs, living where there is persistent spring snow covered areas throughout the year and avoiding areas with warmer temperatures to prevent thermal stress. Learn about the distribution of wolverines in WA and the challenges they face.
