Join us to prepare one of our Lackamas Flats sites to be planted. We will be cleaning up this site so that we can plant here in November.
This event is part of Orca Recovery Day. Removing trash from the Nisqually Watershed will help mitigate the effects of polluted water entering the Puget Sound, and our subsequent native planting will encourage the growth of salmon populations- the Orca’s favorite prey.
This is a 3-hour work party beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM. We will be working rain or shine so dress appropriately for the weather. Tools, gloves, water, coffee, and snacks will be provided.
