How did a great horned owl and a peregrine falcon find jobs as “education birds?” Find out and meet these amazing creatures at the Tenino Timberland Library, Saturday, March 12 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.

Stephanie Estrella is the founder and director of the all-volunteer organization, Raindancer Wild Bird Rescue. She is also the non-profit’s only wildlife rehabilitator, with both state and federal credentials. In addition to caring for needy birds of prey, she makes room for injured or orphaned bats. Clearly, this is a woman with a mission – and a big heart.

The Tenino Timberland Library is located at 172 Central Avenue W. For information, contact the library at 360-264-2369.
