South Sound Speculative Fiction Writers Group

A group for writers of speculative fiction that live in the South Sound (Thurston, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pierce counties). The writing group is a weekly meet-up on Fridays on Slack (no audio or visual. just text). Our aim is to help each other grow, learn, and succeed at our publishing goals. We’re open to beginners and pros as long as they live in the South Sound area and write speculative fiction (fantasy, horror, scifi, slipstream, steampunk, afrofuturism, etc.).

We meet every Friday on this schedule:

First Friday- Critiques

Second Friday- Workshop/tutorials

Third Friday- Critiques

Fourth Friday- Decompress and talk shop

Occasional Fifth Friday- Reading Workshop
