Welcome to the podium Music Director and Conductor Cameron May for the conclusion of his first season with Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia. May has chosen a program for the Conservatory Orchestra with familiar pieces by Mozart, Elgar, and Sibelius along with Plog’s Triple Concerto for Trumpet, Horn, and Trombone featuring talented students Carter Rowell, Emma Tranum, and Ian Rigg.
The Brass Choir, Greg Allison conductor, will open the concert with a glorious fanfare by Marlatt. Their portion of the program will also include “All Things Bright and Beautiful” and Hanssen’s rousing “Valdres” march. Also appearing are the Debut and Academy Orchestras.
Distinguished Sponsor: Capital Heating & Cooling.
