Patrick Dixon, writer, photographer, retired educator and former commercial fisherman, will be the featured reader for the Olympia Poetry Network. Dixon has been a featured reader at the FisherPoets Gathering in Astoria, Oregon for 18 years. He is the editor of Anchored in Deep Water: The FisherPoets Anthology (2014). His chapbook Arc of Visibility won the 2015 Alabama State Poetry competition. His work may be seen at www.PatrickDixon.net. An open mic will precede the main reader. A 100+ Poetry Book Sale will be part of this event.
