Olympia Poetry Network Features Poet Derek Sheffield

Poet Derek Sheffield will be the featured presenter at Olympia Poetry Network’s March event at Traditions Café, 5^th Ave. and Water St. in downtown Olympia.  His reading Wednesday, March 20 from 6:30-8:00 p.m will include works from his new book, “Through the Second Skin.” An Open Mic session will begin the evening.  Sheffield is a professor of English at Wenatchee Valley College.  His award-winning poems and interviews have appeared in magazines journals nation-wide including Poetry, Alaska Quarterly Review and  The Georgia Review.For more information go to http://home.comcast.net/~yake/opn.html.
