Old Time Music and Dance with Carl Jones and Erynn Marshall

There is a southern Appalachian tradition during the 12 days between December 25 and “Old Christmas” (January 5th) of having house parties and dances. Rugs are rolled back and the music and dancing continue in the wee hours, with revelers sometimes going house-to-house. We’re fortunate to be having masters of the old time music tradition, Carl Jones and Erynn Marshall passing through town during that time. Carl and Erynn will also provide a concert before the dance.
