Join the Land Trust for a morning of habitat stewardship, followed by a tour of the Nisqually Valley Farm! Through a conservation easement held by the Nisqually Land Trust, this family farm helps protect over a mile of salmon-producing shoreline.
From 9 to 11 a.m., we will be removing invasive weeds such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry from the Nisqually River and Yelm Creek shorelines.
After the morning stewardship work party, we will tour the farm and conservation easement from 11 a.m. to 12:30 pm. Come for one activity, or both!
