Come learn about native prairie plants at our 2018 Gardening Workshop Series, hosted at our Prairie Demonstration Garden at Shotwell’s Landing Nursery.
Our June workshop will focus on prairie plant ethnobotany and cultural history, and the July workshop will focus on prairie plant ecology. Both workshops will incorporate seed harvesting and cleaning practices.
Each workshop will take place on Friday from 5:00-7:00pm and Saturday form 10:0oam-1:00pm. Participants will receive a sample of native prairie plant see to take home.
