Luke Salazar has been a repo man, private investigator, editor, freelance writer, and college instructor… but not all at once. He pays the bills by driving a semi, though he spends most of his time behind the wheel thinking about poetry. Luke’s hobbies include puttering, grousing, pontificating, and karaoke. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis on poetry and his works have been published in The Ledge, Ambit UK, Chiron Review, Pearl, and Rip Rap. Luke has lived in L.A., Chicago, and Tennessee, finally settling in Olympia, Washington, with his beautiful wife Mia and daughter Zoe. His first full-length collection of poetry, California Burning, was released in 2012 by Aortic Press. Visit him at www.lukesalazar.com.
