Celebrate King Kamehameha Day with Olympia Aloha Ukulele Pu’ukani— a festive occasion for the whole ohana (family). While paying tribute to Kamehameha, we also wish to share Hawaiian culture as we play ukulele, dance, sing, and “talk story” about the revered monarch who united and established the Kingdom of Hawai’i. Food, flower leis, and a small library parade are all part of this holiday full of aloha. This event is part of the Summer Library Program, a Timberland Regional Library district-wide program.
