Goodman served as Secretary of the Washington State Senate from 2013 to 2017, elected three times with bipartisan, unanimous support. Prior to this, he served in the Washington State Attorney General’s office from 2005 to 2013 as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Governmental Affairs, where he led passage of vital legislation to protect vulnerable adults, consumer and victims of domestic violence.
During his seven-year battle with cancer, he received countless, life-saving blood transfusions and was a dedicated advocate for blood donations and support for Bloodworks Northwest.
A proud graduate and member of the University of Southern California Trojans football team, Goodman rallied friends and family to “Fight On!”
Join Hunter’s family and friends as we honor his remarkable legacy of public service and “Fight On!” spirit with this special blood drive. Nearly one-third of all donated blood goes to support people with cancer and other blood disorders.
