Holistic Fair

A Holistic Fair will be held at the Lacey Community Center on Saturday, November 2^nd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Fair is sponsored by Center for Spiritual Living Olympia. Admission is $5. Food will be available for purchase.

Event sponsors anticipate 25 or more vendors at the Fair, representing modalities from acupuncture and aromatherapy to hypnotherapy as well as chiropractic care, digestive relief, naturopathy, massage and yoga. There will even be an animal communicator who addresses pet issues. Major sponsors include Firefly Yoga, New Leaf Hyperbarics, New Traditions Fair Trade and Olympia Food Co-op.

“This event will help community members learn more about alternative ways to treat illness and promote wellness,” said Camille Fastle, who is chairing the event. “We are drawing from dozens of local businesses who offer a wide variety of services. Vendors will be happy to answer questions and some will briefly demonstrate various healing techniques including short hands-on treatments for a modest fee.”

Center for Spiritual Living minister, Rev. David Robinson, has hosted Holistic Fairs in previous communities. “A Fair like this helps raise peoples’ awareness of alternative healing methods, while connecting practitioners of such modalities to potential clients, Robinson said. “It’s a fun, win-win event.”
