Dispute Resolution Center Offering Free Renter Workshops – July 20th & 21st

The Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County is offering free training workshops for renters and prospective renters on July 20th and 21st.

The 2-hour “Renter Ready” workshops are designed to help renters and people looking for housing navigate the rental housing process.

The workshops will cover:

• Tenant rights and responsibilities
• How to communicate effectively with landlords
• How to strengthen rental applications

Two workshop options are available:

July 20th – ONLINE  5:30 – 7:30pm

July 21th – IN PERSON  5:30 – 7:30pm at the Dispute Resolution Center’s West Olympia offices.   *Spaces are limited

These workshops were developed in collaboration with the Cities of Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey.

Serving Thurston and south Mason Counties since 1991, the Dispute Resolution Center has a long history of providing voluntary mediation and conflict coaching services to resolve landlord-tenant and other housing-related issues outside of the court system.
